M5507 is a high quality chrome oxide green which can be used to produce chrome metal, in turn, chrome metal can be combined with other metals to produce high performance super-alloys used in the aerospace industry. Chrome oxide green M5507 is a fine dark green powder. When mixed with aluminium and potassium dichromate, using the alumino-thermic process, chromic oxide produces high purity chromium metal. This is a vital ingredient in the production of the high performance super-alloys used in the aerospace industry. Furthermore, M5507 can also be used in military and camouflage coatings applications which require high reflectivity in the infrared range.
